Interested in taking dance to the next level? Our competition team works hard throughout the year to showcase their routines at 3 regional and 1 national competition. They also learn from professionals around the world by participating in conventions and workshops. Have questions about how to join our competitive team? Auditions
Auditions are held in May for the upcoming fall season. Students may audition after turning age 5 by January of the current year. Parents are required to attend an audition meeting prior to auditions. Students are placed on teams according to age and ability.
Benefits
Competition students are one of our highest achieving groups in and out of the classroom. Many of our students have become very successful in academics because they understand how to set goals, prioritize their schedule and focus on the many tasks they are presented with. They are hardworking, disciplined and quick learners.
Time Commitment
Our competition team is unique in that we allow beginners to advance students to compete. Depending on skill level will depend on how many hours your dancer will be at the studio on a weekly basis. You can expect a competitive team level student to be at the studio more than twice a week.
