How tuition works.

First tuition payment is due at registration or by the dancer's first class.
Monthly tuition payments are processed automatically on the 1st of each month from September through May.
Autopayment options are available through the secure online portal.
A $25 late fee is applied to any account with an outstanding balance after the 10th of the month.
If tuition is not paid by the 15th, dancers may be unable to participate in class until the balance is resolved.
A $35 insufficient funds or returned payment fee applies to returned checks or failed transactions.
Tuition is non-refundable and remains the same regardless of attendance or number of weeks in the month.
Tuition does not include costume fees, recital fees, or other special event costs.

Studio Policies

A practical guide for families.

Registration and Tuition

Registration requires a parent or legal guardian to complete emergency information, payment, and the annual non-refundable registration fee online or through the front office. A credit card on file is strongly encouraged for automatic monthly tuition withdrawal.

Withdrawal from Class

Families may withdraw by emailing confirmation, calling, or speaking with the front office in person. If you are on automatic withdrawal, you must drop before tuition is processed on the 1st. Mid-month withdrawals are still responsible for that month of tuition.

Make Up Classes

Makeup classes are not offered unless a class has been cancelled by the teacher. Missed classes may be made up in an equivalent class only with front office permission. No makeup classes are offered for inclement weather or natural disasters outside the studio's control.

Arrival, Drop Off and Viewing

Parents or legal guardians are responsible for timely pickup. Students must wait inside the building, and anyone other than a parent or guardian picking up a student should be cleared with the front office. Viewing windows are open daily, but parents should avoid distracting students or knocking on windows.

Classroom Attire

Students are required to wear proper dance apparel in all classes. Ballet classes do not allow midriff-baring clothing. Leotards and tights are required except for hip hop and acro, where a loose-fitting tank top may be worn.

Recital and Costumes

Cypress Elite holds a professional recital each May or June. Recital preparation begins in January, and each participating class performs a routine. Costume and recital fees are due in November, and costume orders are non-refundable once placed.

Account Questions

Reach out before the 10th.

If you have questions about your account, contact the studio before the 10th of the month to avoid late charges.
